April 2016 Newsletter

For 36 years, King’s Daughters Child Care Center has been blessed with the service of our Center Director, Jeanie Hores. On May 31, she will begin a new journey, retirement.
No matter what the weather is like outside or how she is feeling, Jeanie has been at the Center every morning making sure families are greeted when they arrive. She has assured the first time mothers that their special bundle of joy is in the best of care at the Center. She has accomplished countless things during her time at King’s Daughters and has worn many hats such as, child care provider, cook, friend, mother, and Center Director. Before my hire, she was the person that held down King’s Daughters while there was no Executive Director. For all of this, we will be forever grateful to her for what she has accomplished for the Center.
Jeanie’s passion has been and probably always will be King’s Daughters, the staff, the families and the children. So with that, we thank her for 36 years of dedicated service to all the families she has taken care of during her time at the Center.
So please join us on Friday May 27 to wish Jeanie the best in her retirement. We will be celebrating her throughout the day at the Center.
Jasmine Reynolds has assumed the Center Director position. She has been working with Jeanie for the past year learning all operations. Jasmine is currently working full time while finishing her degree in Business Management at Wheeling Jesuit. If you need to contact her, you can email her at or call the office. I congratulate and wish both of these ladies the best in their new journeys!
